John Mathews
President
Prior to starting Eident Sports Marketing in 2006, John served as VP Development for Peter Jacobsen Sports while also acting as Tournament /Executive Director of the CVS/pharmacy Charity Classic. During his tenure at the CVS, John led the efforts that increased revenues from $3M to over $12M annually. During that same period, charitable donations grew from $350K to $1.7M annually. Prior to PJS, John founded Emcee Sports in Baltimore, creating several events including the PGA Tour’s State Farm Senior Classic from the concept phase to fruition. At Eident, he has led the development of several races including the Cox Rhode Races and Amica Triathlon Series, firmly establishing Eident as an emerging leader in the racing industry. John began his career at the Capital Centre in Landover, MD where he sold sponsorships for the Washington Capitals and Bullets, among other properties. He has 25 years of experience in sponsorship, hospitality, ticket sales, broadcast marketing, event management, race directing, operations and financial management. He is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University, and now lives in Portsmouth RI with his wife and two sons.
Brewer Rowe
Vice President of Events
One of the founders and leaders of Eident Sports, Brewer has played an integral role in the company’s rapid growth. He has been instrumental in developing and implementing such successful events as the Amica Triathlon Series, Amica Championship, Cox Providence Rhode Races, Amica Marathon and Cox Rhode Island Sports Awards. In his role as the Vice President of Events, Brewer’s myriad of responsibilities include overseeing operations, creating budgets, generating sponsorship and managing staff for all of events. Brewer brought extensive experience in the sports marketing industry prior to launching Eident. He previously worked for Octagon Sports Marketing, Aggreko Event Services and Peter Jacobsen Productions, where he worked on the CVS/Caremark Charity Classic. Brewer is a graduate of the University of Vermont.
Todd Saunders
Vice President of Development
Todd has been in the sports marketing industry for over a decade. A graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, he got his start at the CVS/pharmacy Charity Classic in Operations. From there Todd oversaw the operations at the Constellation Energy Classic in Baltimore while selling partnerships and tickets for the CVS/pharmacy Charity Classic. He was then promoted to Director, Business Development at Peter Jacobsen Productions and directed new initiatives and clients that included PNC Financial Services Group, Bank of America, Lexus/Toyota, the USGA and Ketel One Vodka. Since joining Eident he has helped develop, integrate and activate the Amica Triathlon Series, PNC Financial golf initiatives and the Turning Stone Races, while assisting on the COX Providence Rhode Races and Amica Ironman 70.3 Rhode Island. Todd currently resides in Naples, FL with his wife. He is active in the running and triathlon community and is a board member of the Naples Area Triathletes.
Matt Gray
Director of Collegiate Marketing
Matt leads Eident’s collegiate marketing division. His primary responsibilities include managing sponsorship sales and consulting for Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), the largest conference in the country with over 300 schools and 107 Championships annually. He also directs sponsorship sales for the Hockey East Association, the most prestigious collegiate Division I hockey conference in the country. Prior to joining the Eident team, Matt worked for the Timberland Company where he led the operations of multiple stores and generated over $6 million in total annual sales. A graduate of Providence College, Matt earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus in marketing and management from the University of Hartford.

Director of Public Relations
Deb
brings
an
extensive
background
in
both
journalism
and
media
relations
to
Eident’s
team.
As
the
Director
of
Public
Relations,
Deb
leads
both
traditional
and
non-‐traditional
media
relations
efforts
for
all
of
Eident’s
properties
and
events,
locally
and
nationally.
Prior
to
joining
Eident’s
team,
Deb
gained
extensive
experience
in
media
relations
in
her
role
in
the
public
relations
department
at
Cox
Communications.
An
award-‐winning
journalist,
Deb
served
as
Rhode
Island’s
sole
female
sports
editor
during
her
12-‐year
tenure
at
Beacon
Communications.
Deb
later
joined
the
Providence
Journal
sports
department
where
she
served
as
a
copy
editor
and
a
freelance
reporter.
Deb
is
a
graduate
of
the
University
of
Rhode
Island.
